Our Organic Certificate verifies that Van der Heiden Kaas is fully certified in the storage, wholesale, and transport of organic cheese. This certification is monitored by Skal Biocontrole, acting on behalf of the Dutch Ministry of Agriculture, Nature, and Food Quality. This ensures that all our organic cheeses meet the strict criteria set for organic production and handling.
Meadow Milk Certificate:
The Meadow Milk Certificate guarantees that our dairy products are crafted from meadow milk. This milk is sourced from cows that graze freely in the pasture for at least 120 days a year, for a minimum of 6 hours each day. This certificate not only supports animal welfare but also assures the natural and high-quality nature of our cheese.
