Making a wheel of Gouda cheese
The Holland Delta is made of cow's milk. This cow's milk is pasteurised and then turned into Gouda cheese.
Ripening our Gouda cheese
After the production process, the Gouda cheese is ripened on the untreated wooden shelves of our modern warehouse, under the watchful eye of our cheesemakers. The cheesemakers monitor the ripening process on a daily basis. Here, our cheesemakers give the cheese the attention and treatment it needs, so it has the perfect flavour when it is delivered to the buyer.
The end user determines the perfect flavour for them, since the Holland Delta is available in different age varieties.
The Holland Delta assortment
This Gouda cheese of the Netherlands is available in any age between 6 weeks up to no less than 36 months old. Moreover, it comes in different varieties. For example, we offer a wheel of Gouda cheese in a 12-kg variety as well as a 5-kg variety. The Holland Delta is also available in pre-cut condition.
In addition to the normal Gouda cheese, the Holland Delta also features a Maasdam and a Maasdam goat cheese assortment.

The various ages and varieties of Holland Delta do not only stand out because of their flavour; after all, appearances matter too. That is why each Holland Delta has its own label, making the distinction between the various age categories clear to anyone, also interesting for the Dutch cheese export.
